Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PinkyFranc Studio handles information when you use our invitation tools. It supplements, but does not replace, Etsy's own Privacy Policy. PinkyFranc Studio is responsible for the information processed through this website.

Information we process

• Music uploads: the MP3 you choose, its size and duration, player colors, loop setting, creation time and expiry time. We do not intentionally retain the original filename.
• Security information: your IP address is converted into a one-way salted hash for abuse prevention and the daily upload limit. The raw IP address is not stored in our application database.
• Countdown settings: event date and time, time zone, language, font, colors and display options.
• Etsy order information: Etsy may provide order and contact information needed to deliver the purchased item, communicate about the order, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.

How and why we use information

We process this information only to provide the tool you requested, generate and serve your unique player or countdown link, secure the service, enforce upload limits, respond to support or deletion requests, comply with Etsy's rules and applicable law, and address suspected fraud or infringement. We do not sell uploaded audio or use it for advertising, profiling, AI training or a music library.

Public links

Important: music-player and countdown URLs are unlisted, but they are not password protected. Anyone who receives or discovers a link may open it. Do not upload confidential recordings, personal messages or audio containing information you do not want invitation recipients to hear.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare provides hosting, object storage, database, network security and Turnstile bot protection. Turnstile may process technical signals such as IP address, user-agent and browser or device signals for security. If you paste a generated link into Canva or another platform, that platform and its embed provider may request and process the public link under their own privacy policies. Some countdown fonts may be delivered by Google Fonts. These providers may process information in countries outside your own.

Retention and deletion

• MP3 files and associated player records are scheduled for automatic deletion 365 days after upload. Scheduled deletion may take up to 24 additional hours.
• The one-way IP hash used by our application is cleared after it is no longer needed for rate limiting, normally within 48 hours.
• You can delete a player earlier using the private deletion link shown after upload. Keep that link private.
• Countdown records are deleted after their stated expiry period.
• Limited Etsy transaction records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or other legal obligations.

Deletion stops future access from our service, but copies already downloaded, recorded or cached by recipients or third parties are outside our control.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection concerning your personal information. For a music file, include the player URL but never post the private deletion link publicly. Contact PinkyFranc through the Etsy shop linked below. For information held by Etsy itself, submit the request directly to Etsy.

Security and changes

We use HTTPS, unguessable URLs, access controls, bot protection and limited retention, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
